Investing in Brazil
We know what happened to people who invested in Spain 20 years ago, buying property. Simply put, they multiplied their investment by 10 times, or in many cases, even more.
Virtually all property increased in value, whether it was a house, land or building. Spain was at the time an emerging country, with a young population, low wages, old discharge inflation, old houses, political stability, legal security, good climate, etc.
These same elements and many more are now occurring in Brazil. For example: Spain never had petroleum, diamonds, gold, etc. What then, does it matter if inflation is high? As the country improves its economy, levels of inflation will lower, and then, much as it happened in Spain, the mortgages will be more accessible to most of the population and the real estate market will rise. Because construction reacts slowly to the changes in the cycle, for this reason there will be a of lack houses for a population eager to be the owner of something as basic as a house.
A similarly positive analysis was made by some of the biggest Spanish companies, which several years ago established themselves in the area, among them: Telefonica, ENDESA, Repsol, Crédito y Caucún, Agbar, Banco Santander, etc etc.
Brazil is a legally reliable country, all purchases are made in the presence of a notary connected via IT to the Registry of Property, much the same as in any European country. Private property is a right guaranteed in the Constitution.
